Understand Your Values ✳︎ Learn to Love Yourself ✳︎ Release Generational Wounds ✳︎ Heal from Anxiety ✳︎ Thriving in Neurodivergence
Becoming Brave is a highly interactive, two-hour workshop designed to help you reconnect with what truly matters to you and begin living with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust. Rather than focusing on fixing or changing yourself, this workshop invites you to slow down, reflect, and identify the values that already guide you—whether consciously or not.
Together, we’ll explore:
What values really are (and what they’re not)
How living out of alignment contributes to stress, burnout, and self-doubt
The subtle ways we shrink, apologize, or abandon ourselves to meet expectations
How to begin making braver, more authentic choices—without blowing up your life
Through guided reflection, discussion, and practical exercises, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your core values and concrete ways to begin living them in your relationships, work, and daily life.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to:
Care less about others’ approval and more about living in alignment
Feel more grounded and confident in their decisions
Stop apologizing for who they are
Begin showing up more fully and honestly in their life
You don’t need to be fearless to live authentically. You just need to be brave.
Workshop will be held live on May 7th at 4:00pm MST/5:00pm PST. All those signed up will receive the recording if they cannot attend live.
Ethics & Social Media: Navigating Visibility, Boundaries, and Professional Responsibility
Social media has become an unavoidable part of modern clinical practice—whether therapists actively post online, maintain a professional presence, or simply exist in digital spaces where clients can easily find them. While social platforms offer opportunities for education, connection, and advocacy, they also introduce complex ethical challenges related to boundaries, confidentiality, self-disclosure, dual relationships, and professional identity.
This continuing education course provides therapists with a clear, practical framework for ethically navigating social media use while remaining aligned with professional standards and values. Participants will explore how ethical principles apply to real-life digital scenarios, including therapist self-disclosure online, client interactions on social platforms, content creation, marketing, and managing visibility in small or overlapping communities.
Through case examples, discussion, and ethical decision-making models, clinicians will learn how to assess risk, clarify boundaries, and develop a social media presence (or absence) that supports both client welfare and therapist integrity.
Participants will leave with increased confidence in making thoughtful, ethical choices related to social media use—without relying on rigid rules or fear-based avoidance.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Identify common ethical risks related to therapist use of social media
Apply core ethical principles to digital and online scenarios
Navigate boundaries, confidentiality, and dual relationships in online spaces
Evaluate therapist self-disclosure and content creation through an ethical lens
Develop personal guidelines for ethical social media engagement
